“Passing the station, I thought about Naoko and our endless walking. It had all started from there. I realized that if I hadn’t run into Naoko on the train that Sunday in May, my life would have been very different from what it was now. but then I changed my mind: no, even if we hadn’t met that day, my life might not have been any different. We had met that day because we were supposed to meet. If we hadn’t met then and there, we would have met somewhere else sometime. I didn’t have any basis for thinking this: it was just a feeling.”—Haruki Murakami (Norwegian Wood)
browsing the UCI tag, i read your post about UCI's Middle Earth. tip: Mesa Court has bigger rooms for the same price if you move into the Phase 3 (newer) buildings. I lived in Mesa Court, Jardin. Middle Earth is closer to campus, yes, but rooms are way smaller. Also, they really regulate loudness because buildings are bunched up together in ME. There, they use card keys instead of actual keys, which don't always work :\. Either way, whatever you choose, get close to all the people in your hall.
Oh that’s really helpful! Thank you so much, dear kind stranger!! I will keep that in mind.
